Maila Sepri has been working at Vestas as a product manager for the German onshore wind market over the past 5 years. After studying Engineering at Swarthmore College and then obtaining her Master's degree in Ocean Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology in the US, she searched for an international adventure and ended up in Heidenheim, Germany, working in research & development of tidal turbines. One aspect that she enjoys most about her job in the wind industry is seeing the international sustainable energy movement from multiple aspects - technical, regulatory, commercial, as well as social.
