Marc has been active in the renewable energy sector for nearly 20 years. From 1996 to 1999 he worked at Nuon, a Dutch utility company, advising the executive board for several energy projects in Europe and the US. Marc joined the Rabobank Project Finance of Rabobank in 1999 in various roles. Currently he is responsible for the renewable project financing transactions in Europe. In the past he focused on the financial structuring, advising and arranging of many large infrastructure, energy and renewable energy projects in Europe and the US. Marc has significant experience in the offshore wind sector and was heavily involved in almost all offshore wind financings of Rabobank in last 10 years. Examples are Butendiek, Belwind refinancing, Meerwind (bond financing) and the landmark onshore wind transaction NOP Agrowind and nearshore wind transaction Westermeerwind in the Netherlands.
