Feike Savenije is researcher at ECN Wind Energy for about nine years, mostly working on wind turbine and wind farm dynamics and control. His background is a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology with specialization Advanced Mechatronics. At ECN, he has been involved in several national and international projects, both research and commercial. Recent topics are active wake control, floating wind turbines and vertical axis wind turbines. Feike also coordinates the research line ‘Support structures’ at ECN Wind Energy.
