Tony Rovers is part of Meridian Energy’s Wind Maintenance and Development team based in Wellington, New Zealand. He has worked in wind energy and renewable energy projects for 18 years working for developers, consultants and wind turbine manufacturers. He has experience from working in various countries undertaking wind farm layout design and load analysis, wind farm performance assessment along with extensive experience with the use of lidar and sodar. Most recently he has been involved in the development and performance assessment of Meridian Energy’s wind farms, particularly those in complex terrain.
