Joannes Olondriz obtained the Bachelor's Science (2013) and Master Science (2015) degrees in automation and industrial electronics engineering from Mondragon Unibertsitatea located in Arrasate-Mondragón, Spain. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. at IK4-Ikerlan research company in partnership with the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. His thesis is on the subject of advanced control of floating offshore wind turbines. His current research interests include modeling, simulation and control of mechanical and electronic power systems, such us wind turbines, industrial plants and energy supply systems.
