Biography

Mr. José Miguel Oliveira has been working as Project Director for 14 years, in a Portuguese wind energy promoter called Empreendimentos Eólicos do Vale do Minho, S.A. (EEVM). In that position he has been responsible for the development and implementation of four wind farms in the Northwest region of Portugal, with a total installed capacity of 319,7 MW, which includes one of the largest wind farms in Europe, Alto Minho I wind farm (Ventominho). At EEVM he coordinates a multidisciplinary team and represents the company in a regional energy agency and in a wolf conservation association. He completed the Master Degree of Energy and Environment Economics and Policy in 1997, at the Lisbon School of Economics and Management, where he has also been graduated in Economics in 1992.
