Mr. Balaresque has been working in the wind industry for over 10 years. Since 2010 he is the technical managing director of Deutsche WindGuard Engineering GmbH, which is responsible for the operation of Deutsche WindGuard’s Aeroacoustic wind tunnel, and also offers on-site flow related wind turbine measurement services. He studied Mechanical Engineering in the Federico Santa María Technical University in Chile. Two years of studies took place at the Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg in Germany. He was in charge of the last construction phase of Deutsche WindGuard’s Aeroacoustic Wind Tunnel in Bremerhaven, Germany, the wind tunnels first operation, design of the 2D-Aeroacoustic test section and several research projects that have accompanied the regular commercial activities of the wind tunnel.
