Ms. Coimbra is a Mechanical Engineer undergoing a Master’s degree at Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). She has been working with wind energy since 2014, firstly as an undergraduate researcher in a Research & Development project at UFSC and after as a wind analyst intern at a company that certifies wind projects for the Brazilian government. Currently, she is participating in a Research and Development project at the University on wind energy forecasting at two operating wind farms in Brazil. In addition, she is writing her master’s thesis on wind power prediction at a coastal wind farm in Brazil.
