PhD Fellow, IREC, Spain
Markus Lerch is an Energy Engineer and PhD Fellow working at the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC). He holds a B.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering and a M.Sc. degree in Energy Engineering with specialization in Renewable Energies. After his studies, he worked as a project developer for power and industrial plants in Germany, Spain and Latin America. In 2015 he joined IREC, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in the frame of the H2020 LIFES50+ project. His research interest lies in the modeling and analysis of floating substructures for offshore wind turbines.
