Dr. Jay Prakash Goit is a project assistant professor at Civil Engineering Department, The University of Tokyo. He received his PhD. degree in 2015 form the Mechanical Engineering Department of KU Leuven, Belgium. His PhD research was on LES and optimal coordinated control of wind farms. Following his PhD., Dr. Goit joined Research and Development Group, Hitachi, Ltd where he worked at the Wind Energy development unit. He also worked as a researcher at The University of Tokyo for one year. His research interests include design and optimization of wind turbines and wind farms, experimental and computational fluid dynamics, flow control.
