RAUL GIL Prysmian Powerlink Chief Operating Officer A graduate in Electronic Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, with an MBA from ESADE University and an AMP from Harvard Business School, Raul Gil joined Prysmian Group as a sales manager in 1997. Over the years he has held different positions within the Group in a career mainly focused on power utilities systems. He became Aerial Cables Business Director in 2004, subsequently moving to the submarine business in 2010 as Sales Director. Since 2014, Raul has been Chief Operating Officer at Prysmian Powerlink, also chairing the Utilities Board of Europacable, the leading European cable and wire manufacturers association. With extensive knowledge and understanding of the industry, he heads the operations of Prysmian Powerlink, the Prysmian Group’s specialist company in the manufacture and installation of submarine and high voltage underground cables with an annual turnover of more than Euro 1 billion.
