Aligning the Hydrogen Value Chain – Challenges & Streamlining of Infrastructure Development

This interactive workshop, hosted by the North Seas Energy Cooperation (NSEC) Support Group 5, brings together key stakeholders from across the hydrogen value chain – including producers, offtakers, transmission system operators (TSOs), and government representatives from NSEC member states and the UK. Participants will explore practical solutions to accelerate the planning and implementation of cross-border hydrogen infrastructure within the NSEC region. The session will address regulatory challenges, coordination requirements, and opportunities for strategic cooperation.
High-level representatives from the NSEC SG 5 H2 Co-Chair countries – Hanna Schumacher (Deputy Director General at BMWK) and Bertel Dons Christensen (Head of the Department for EU Politics at KEFM) – will be present and actively engaged in the discussions.
