The Circularity Workshops are designed for stakeholders in the wind industry to collaboratively identify the necessary steps and strategies to achieve 100% circular outflow of wind turbines by 2030. Hosted in Vattenfall’s Tiny House, the workshops aim to foster collaboration among key stakeholders and to create pathways to help us to transform to a more circular business.
The 1-hour workshops are addressing participants from the entire value chain, such as manufacturers, operators, suppliers, recycling companies, researchers, authorities including NGOs, and is aiming to ensure a diverse range of perspectives and expertise. The goal is to develop first steps for actionable strategies to contribute to a goal of re-using, repurposing or recycling all components of wind turbines, including blades, nacelle covers, and permanent magnets.
The Tiny House, built from the nacelle – the heart of the wind turbine – is a perfect inspiring place to come together and create innovative solutions for a more circular business. During the workshops, the Tiny House is not open for public visits.
