Session description
Hydrogen and its derivatives will play a pivotal role in the indirect electrification and decarbonization of hard-to-abate sectors. These sectors, such as heavy industry, aviation, and maritime transport, are notoriously difficult to decarbonize due to their high energy consumption and dependence on fossil fuels. This session will demonstrate the possibilities of indirect electrification via Power-to-X in these sectors, also highlighting the need for renewable energy, and particularly, wind technologies.
