Session description
The green transition demands a coordinated effort—no single sector can tackle the challenges alone. Aligning education, policy, and industry at both EU and national levels is essential to developing the expertise needed for a sustainable future. Policy implementation support, industry-education initiatives, and green career guidance are crucial to ensuring education equips learners for this shift. Expanding inclusive STEM education is also key to preparing diverse talent. But are current partnerships delivering real impact? What barriers stand in the way, and what concrete actions can drive systemic change?
This session brings together leaders from industry, government, and education to examine cross-sector collaboration. Panelists will explore policy priorities, industry needs, and education’s role in shaping green careers—discussing challenges, opportunities, and actions for real impact
