Offshore wind generation and distribution efficiency will have a significant impact on reaching global net-zero goals. As an expert in intelligent energy management and energy storage, the company has developed a subsea lithium-ion battery with integrated intelligent energy management which brings multi-purpose energy storage solutions in offshore wind farms. This presentation will delve into the system's technical nuances, its adaptation for offshore wind applications, and its real-world deployment in a live European offshore wind farm. The presentation will also cover the modular and highly scalable design that leads to a more balanced power output by shaving the peak power production in offshore wind farms, with capabilities not just for grid stabilisation but also for addressing various other use cases such as grid curtailment prevention.
