Whether you are a seasoned researcher or simply curious about the latest developments in your field, we believe that the posters will offer something of interest to everyone. So please join us at the conference and take advantage of this opportunity to learn and engage with your peers in industry and the academic community.
On 9 April at 17:15, we’ll also hold the main poster session and distinguish the 7 best posters of this year’s edition with our traditional Poster Awards Ceremony. Join us at the poster area to cheer and meet the laureates, and enjoy some drinks with all poster presenters!

PO040: Promoting wind energy acceptance through a new framework and interactive web-based tool.
Roopali Bhatnagar, Postdoc, Copenhagen Business School
Abstract
The current study reviews the existing wind energy social acceptance literature and develops an interactive online tool to present recommendations and interventions that have been implemented across the world, to enhance social acceptability of wind energy projects. With six categories of factors that, in combination, might drive acceptance or opposition to wind energy project, a methodological framework is developed. These strategies include informational interventions, communication strategies, technical and other planning-level solutions that target different stakeholders and stages in a wind energy project. This repository of strategies is then converted into an online, user-friendly decision support tool which can be used by community members, wind industry stakeholders, wind energy project developers and policy makers.
