We would like to invite you to come and see the posters at our upcoming conference. The posters will showcase a diverse range of research topics, and will give delegates an opportunity to engage with the authors and learn more about their work. Whether you are a seasoned researcher or simply curious about the latest developments in your field, we believe that the posters will offer something of interest to everyone. So please join us at the conference and take advantage of this opportunity to learn and engage with your peers in industry and the academic community.
On 9 April at 17:15, we’ll also hold the main poster session and distinguish the 7 best posters of this year’s edition with our traditional Poster Awards Ceremony. Join us at the poster area to cheer and meet the laureates, and enjoy some drinks with all poster presenters!
We look forward to seeing you there!
PO007: How Digital transformation of O&M practices can enhance asset performance
Gabriela Lorena Mamani Lehue, Lead - Wind O&M, Accenture
Abstract
Digital is a key enabler to transform O&M when adopted effectively. As more windfarms become operational and add to the variability in the grid, producing at the right time directly corresponds to better economics. Gaining insights on asset performance, doing predictive maintenance and having the transparency on materials can improve asset availability. We estimate that a 1% production based availability increase can lead to a c.1m€/GW revenue increase. Join us to learn more on how digital can improve O&M capabilities In this session, we will deep-dive on: 1. Decision Room: Transitioning from a Control room concept that only monitors operations and executes transactional activities to a Decision room that combine all types of data and information to build an integrated management system. The Decision room acts as the single source of truth and is further enhanced by an operational model that integrates into standardized and optimized business processes. 2. Digital Wind Hub to monitor and visualize the current state of the wind farm, manage alarms & fault hierarchies, monitor and action health & safety and work certifications, and plan and schedule work. 3. Advanced Analytics and AI 1. To produce time to failure analysis, failure diagnostics and better predict stock levels and optimize supply chains. Enabling Predictive maintenance across the entire system, including cables and substations, on land as well as in the water. 2. To develop a multifaceted dataset, including weather, production and market price forecasting. Enabling Commercial Optimization from better decision-making. 3. To develop power curve optimization, and providing root cause probability, such as yaw and pitch, and prescriptive actions such as logistics optimization of people, equipment, vessels and weather windows. Enabling Production Optimization
