Biography
Dr Tom Doyle has a BEng and PhD in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin, Ireland. Tom is a Director and co-founder of Dublin Offshore, engineering technology solutions for the world's oceans. Dublin Offshore works with partners to deliver simple solutions to complex problems in the offshore sector with a focus on renewable energy, especially offshore wind. Dr Doyle is an experienced chief engineer and technical manager with a demonstrated history of delivering high complexity offshore systems within cost and performance drivers as both technical expert and project lead. Areas of expertise include marine structures, foundation design, product development, cost reduction and engineering first principles. In the past 15 years in the marine renewable energy industry Tom has displayed leadership, teamwork and team management skills, delivering projects through his resilience, ability to provide clarity within a team environment, and strong commercial focus.Posters
