Biography
Josche Muth is Head of Regulatory and Public Affairs for Germany and for P2X Europe. His tasks include contributing to Ørsted's strategy in offshore and onshore wind in Germany and P2X in Europe as well as managing an amazing team of energy experts. Moreover, Josche represents Ørsted on related regulatory and public affairs matters and supports the analysis of legal frameworks in core markets.
Prior to joining Ørsted, he worked for the German International Cooperation Agency, GIZ. First as head of secretariat of the German-Mexican energy partnership based in Mexico, and thereafter seconded as senior energy expert to the Federal ministry for economic affairs and energy (BMWi) in Germany. From 2007 to 2016, Josche was based in Brussels, starting as head of office and advisor to the European Parliament's Vice-President and member of the industry and energy committee (ITRE)before becoming the Secretary General of the European renewable energy industries' umbrella association (EREC).
