Biography

Edward Pfeiffer is a senior consultant energy systems with more than 30 years experience. He works nearly 14 years with consulting engineers firm Royal HaskoningDHV and previously for the Dutch Government and KEMA. As senior energy consultant he combines technical solutions, local conditions and business strategy towards a feasible energy infrastructure business case with full involvement of stakeholders. He is familiar with renewable power, heat and cold solutions, at small and large scale. Aiming at reducing energy need in the first place, secondly using excess energy available in the neighborhood followed by optimal development of local renewable energy sources. System integration of onshore and offshore wind and solar energy and development of energy hubs is his passion. All about the perfect combination of production, transport, storage and use of energy. Over time his interest increased to sustainable concepts like circular economy thus bringing energy and resource management together.
