Biography

Timo Karlsson has been working with wind turbines for nearly 15 years. He is currently a Senior Scientist at VTT Technical Research Center of Finland. His work at VTT is heavily focused on cold climate issues faced by wind turbines. Including ice detection, icing condition analysis, icing mitigation method development, field and lab testing etc. He is also the lead of the IEA wind Research Task 54 on cold climate wind.
