Biography

Bérénice has obtained a degree of Master in Chemical Engineering from K.U. Leuven. She has 25+ experience in general management in the energy sector in Belgium. She started her career at Fluxys (Belgian gas TSO), where she held several positions including Communication Manager and Secretary of the Board. Afterwards, she was Secretary General of several associations: Synergrid (the association of Belgian network operators for gas and electricity) and Estela (European Solar Thermal Electricity Association). From october 2023, she is Secretary General of Belgian Offshore Platform (the association of investors and owners of offshore wind farms in the Belgian part of the North Sea). Adaptation to climate change, renewable energy, sustainability, energy transition and its implications for the economy and society are topics that interest her deeply.
