Biography
Michael Catton is an engineer in Wood Thilsted's Climate Analytics, Loads and Metocean department. He studied Sustainable Energy at the Technical University of Denmark, specialising in wind energy. During his studies, collaborating with DTU researchers and Vattenfall, he contributed to the OffshoreWake project by studying the effects of wakes from large offshore wind farm clusters. After graduating as a MSc. Michael spent several years as an engineer in the renewable energy forecasting sector, before joining Wood Thilsted to focus on delivering Site Conditions Assessments, Energy Yield Assessments, and the optimisation of wind farm layouts.Posters
