Biography
Franziska Drews-von Ruckteschell is a marine sustainability expert at the SUBMARINER Network, specializing in marine conservation and multi-use concepts for offshore wind energy. Her multi-use work encompasses combinations with low-trophic aquaculture, nature restoration, fisheries, and tourism. She is involved in EU projects such as ULTFARMS and NESBp, as well as the German government's Multi-Use Study, which explores multi-use combinations within Germany’s EEZ, particularly in relation to offshore wind energy. Holding a Master’s degree in Sea-Human Relations from Gothenburg University, she integrates marine protection, maritime spatial planning, and cross-sector collaboration to drive sustainable ocean management.
