Mrs Henrike Semmler Le

Senior Specialist for Oceans and Fisheries, WWF Denmark

Biography

I am a marine biologist (PhD) with experience in academia before transitioning to advisory roles at ICES and later into the NGO sector. Since 2018, I have been the Senior Specialist for Ocean and Fisheries at WWF Denmark. I work on EU environmental legislation, fisheries policies, ecosystem-based management, marine spatial planning, and nature restoration, with some focus on the blue economy and blue finance.
