Biography
Mr. Krzysztof Szczepaniec has acquired a potent range of skills from nearly fifteen years of experience in the European renewable energy sector. He is currently conducting the PhD research on multi-criteria site characterisation and site selection for floating offshore wind farms off the Irish coast at Dundalk Institute of Technology. He studied physics at the University of Szczecin, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and yacht and sport watercraft design at the West Pomeranian University of Technology, Faculty of Maritime Technology. After his studies, he spent 15 years working for wind farm developers and consultancy companies in Poland and the UK. His experience incorporates commercial-size wind farm portfolios in Europe, Asia, and Africa. He has extensive knowledge regarding the renewable energy industry and specializes in technical wind due diligence and project management, energy yield predictions, O&M, noise impact, and wind measurements.Posters
