Energy Policies and Climate Change Director, AEE
Biography
A graduate in Political Science and Master in International Relations, before joining AEE in 2010 as its Energy and Climate Change Policies Director, Mr Willstedt was in charge of energy issues at the multinational organization WWF in Spain for eight years. He has also worked as an associate professor at the Renewable Energy Master of the Universidad Europea de Madrid and at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and collaborated with the Universidad Pontificia Comillas and Enerclub as a speaker in several master’s related to energy and climate change. Before, he has also worked for the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Paris for five years, and for the European Council of the Chemical Industry (CEFIC) in Brussels. He is a contributor to the magazine “Energías Renovables” and the author of numerous articles in specialized media in the energy sector. Throughout his career, he has participated in several international summits (COPs) on Climate and the protection of the ozone layer.
