Biography

Michael Farrington is a Civil Engineer with further qualifications in Project Management, Construction Law and a Business Strategy and Innovation. Michael has spent over 25 years in all aspects of infrastructure delivery with experience for both private and public clients. In addition, Michael has worked on infrastructure policy development for central government in Ireland and has led a highly successful training initiative providing continued professional development for procurement of public infrastructure. More recently, Michael has moved into Offshore Renewable Energy industry through his current role as Head of Function for ORE Ports Facilitation in the Irish Department of Transport where, with his team, he focusses on the delivery of port infrastructure that will enable Ireland’s Offshore Wind targets.
