Biography

Cristina Simioli oversees the Renewables Grid Initiative's (RGI) portfolio of offshore projects and collaborations aimed at finding solutions for the sustainable development of renewable and grid infrastructure. She has extensive experience in leading advocacy campaigns, executing national, regional and European cross-sectoral collaborations, as well as in employing participatory and stakeholder engagement techniques. Before joining RGI, she worked on energy and nature conservation for NGOs, a UN agency, and an environmental engineering consultancy.
