Biography

Antonio Ugarte is Aerospace Engineer by the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona (U.S.A.), and Master in Business & Administration in Renewable Energies. He is Director of the Wind Energy Department at CENER, with more than 25 years of experience in the wind power sector. This experience covers a wide range of aspects from wind turbine design and manufacturing, wind farm business development, to research and technology development. He has been part of EERA JP Wind Management Board for more than 10 years leading different Sub-Programs, as well as being part of ETIPWind Steering Committee. Currently deeply involved in developing the European Center of Excellence for Wind.
