Biography

Joao has twenty years' experience in offshore renewable energy. For the majority of that time, Joao has worked as a technical consultant and has had a direct role in pioneer projects in ocean energy. Joao gathers unique numerical and experimental modelling skills in load and stress analysis, coupled with a broad range of field and strategic advice experience. Recent projects where Joao was involved include a range of deep-water foundation concept designs, for both WTGs and OSSs, fixed and floating. Joao has also co-developed design tools that compile foundation data from recent and ongoing projects, across the globe, anonymising in a way that it can be used in early-stage, feasibility assessments.
