Senior Metocean Scientist, Wood Thilsted

Biography

Mark is a Senior Scientist with over 10 years of experience in physical oceanography and offshore engineering research. Mark's research has centred around improving understanding of ocean waves and how they interact with offshore structures, with a particular focus on extreme and breaking waves. He currently works with within the Climate Analytics Loads and Metocean team at Wood Thilsted, where he brings the knowledge and understanding of ocean waves he has gained as a researcher to offshore wind projects.
