Biography

Dr Jose Miguel Garro Fernandez is an aerospace engineer who graduated from UPC in 2017. He furthered his studies, earning an MSc in aerodynamics and computation at the University of Southampton in 2018. Jose pursued a PhD in aerodynamics and turbulence modeling in collaboration with the Airbus Noise Technology Center at the University of Southampton from 2018 to 2023, under the supervision of Dr David Angland and Dr Zhiwei Hu. In May 2023, Dr. Garro Fernandez transitioned into the field of data science, joining Eolos, where he applies his analytical skills to extract valuable insights from data. His work involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of EOLOS' floating lidar systems, optimizing data analysis processes, and enhancing the accuracy and reliability of measurements.
