Biography

Mr. Ahmed is PhD researcher at VUB. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pakistan and has over five years of experience as a structural design engineer. He later earned a Master's in Advanced Design of Ships and Offshore Structures in Belgium. His research focuses on data-driven remaining lifetime assessment of offshore wind turbines. Throughout his academic journey, he has earned several awards, including a presidential gold medal and "plus grande distinction" for his outstanding achievements.
