Biography

Mr. Zhang is a Chartered Engineer with nearly 20 years of experience in wind energy development worldwide. His expertise includes energy yield assessment, wind conditions analysis, wind turbine load evaluation, and wind farm design and performance optimization. He currently serves as the Onshore Resource Modelling Manager at BP in the United Kingdom, where he contributes to the enhancement of wind resource assessment and energy yield prediction. Throughout his career, Mr. Zhang has held various roles, including Wind and Site Engineer at Vestas, Senior and Lead Consultant at Wind Prospect and WSP, and Offshore Wind Project Certification Specialist at Lloyd's Register. He has been fortunate to work on a range of projects that have helped advance wind energy technology and improve the efficiency of wind power generation.
