Biography

Dr Nguyen Dinh is the OWC Global Head of Power-to-X and Hydrogen. He has over 20 years' experience, and is a member of the RenewableUK's Green Hydrogen Working Group, and also a member of the Green Hydrogen Committee of Wind Energy Ireland. He was the Hydrogen Energy Specialist for the Asian Development Bank representing ABL Group in a two-year project supporting identification of investment for green hydrogen projects in in the Pacific, frameworks to facilitate large-scale investment and mechanisms to accelerate financing. Prior to joining OWC, he worked at the MaREI Centre as a director (PI) of industry projects including developing scalable and cost-effective hubs for hydrogen production from offshore wind; activation of hydrogen markets; and hydrogen pipelines. He was successfully managing a multi-disciplinary research team and experts from 10 leading companies developed the national offshore wind energy blueprint in Ireland 2020 - 2050 including hydrogen production.
