Biography

Johnny Meit MBA, Head of Business Development, Sales, and Project Development, at Oceans of Energy has been active in the field of offshore solar since 2017 with previous experience in venture capital. At Oceans of Energy, Johnny Meit has contributed to the successful development of the company, resulting in 8 years of offshore solar technology development, 4 years of operations in offshore conditions, 2 technology certifications, and the first commercial contract for an offshore solar farm in the world. Johnny Meit is project manager in the EU-Funded innovation program “EU-SCORES” in which amongst others Oceans of Energy in which the opportunities of hybrid offshore energy farms are explored and means to remove existing barriers are developed.
