Biography

Øivin Aarnes is an environmental engineer and a GIS scientist. He has more than 25 years' experience in environmental sciences and holds a M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences. In DNV he works with Group Research and Development where he specializes in the Blue Economy and Marine Spatial Planning. In his previous role in DNV he worked 10 years with the Environmental Risk Management section in business area Energy Systems.
