Head of LCoE Performance, Vattenfall

Biography

Dr. José Pedro Blasques has been working in the renewable energy sector for more than 15 years. He is currently the Head of LCoE Performance at Vattenfall's Onshore Wind organisation. He has a MSc in Marine Engineering and PhD in numerical optimisation applied to wind turbine design from the Technical University of Denmark. He was a Senior Engineer at Suzlon, and since joining Vattenfall has taken a number of roles covering a large part of the wind energy value chain. He is currently responsible for the development and execution of the innovation roadmaps, to continuously improve the profitability of the onshore wind development portfolio.
