Biography
Felix Jakob Fliegner is currently pursuing his PhD at the Chair of Energy Economics at TU Dresden on the matter of long term offshore grid development in Europe. The PhD is organised as an external collaboration with the German TSO 50Hertz in Berlin and includes quantitative works on energy systems modelling, namely power market simulation and optimisation as well as GIS analysis. Felix holds two Master degrees from NTNU Trondheim (Sustainable Engineering) and TU Berlin (Industrial Engineering in Electrical Engineering) respectively. He is specialised in operations research related to long-term European power system development and is employed as an analyst at 50Hertz/ Elia Group in the department System of the Future since 2020.Posters
