Biography

Mary manages the Sustainability Joint Industry Programme with 12 partners and has >5 years experience in the industry. She has expertise in circularity and sustainability developments, as well as offshore wind market strategy, leasing, technology and policy innovation trends across Asia, Europe and Latin America. Mary has a comprehensive understanding of OSW developments and history in different markets and utilises this knowledge to evaluate different market dynamics while identifying collaboration opportunities between industry and other key stakeholders. Mary has strong research and analytical skills and excels at conducting effective stakeholder engagement. Through these roles, Mary demonstrates proficiency in programme and project management with a large number of partners and is able to synthesise differing opinions and perspectives to facilitate effective project outputs. Mary has a strong technical background; she holds an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Technology and an MPhys in Physics from the University of Sheffield.
