Biography

Jan oversees all offshore wind activities within the Carbon Trust. He has pioneered the development of our industry leading offshore wind research, development and innovation programmes including the Offshore Wind Accelerator (OWA) since 2010. Having been a founding member of the US National Offshore Wind R&D Consortium (NOWRDC), Jan is now Vice Chair and Chair of the developer and state R&D group alongside commitments such as Member of the Evaluation and Advisory Committee for the Dutch Department for Knowledge and Innovation, and a UK Offshore Wind Innovation Hub advisory member.
