Wind Energy Specialist, UTE
Biography
Eliana Cornalino possesses a solid career trajectory in the development of wind energy and its integration on the electrical system of Uruguay. She is a specialist in the study of the behaviour of wind resources in the region and contributes to the development of wind power modeling within the electrical system planning and operation optimizing tools. Eliana graduated in engineering in 2008 and obtained a Master's degree in Energy Engineering in 2015, both in Universidad de la República. She has taken part in a wide variety of researches regarding wind energy, giving support and contributions from both her academic and professional experience working in UTE (Uruguayan electric utility company). Cornalino has also made several contributions to the development of wind, solar and load forecasting in the Uruguayan electrical system.Posters
