Biography

Mr. Walison is an economist with over 15 years of experience in market analytics, strategic advice and business plan development for the maritime and offshore energy industry. During his career he built up extensive strategic, economic, market, commercial, and public affairs knowledge. Patrick is a versatile consultant able to advise in the field of maritime economics-related energy transition topics. His main focus in recent projects has been on the impact of the energy transition in ports (offshore wind, alternative fuels, shore power), developing business cases, implementation plans, forecasts and feasibility studies. Patrick had 8 years of experience in the Strategy & Market department of Van Oord. Furthermore, he has executed and led recent work on energy transition and wind port market studies for NSEC, RenewableUK and Innovation Norway, and commercial assessment for ports in the UK and the Netherlands.
