Biography
Gabriele Martinelli joined LSEG (previously Thomson Reuters / Refinitiv) and the European Power Research team in February 2016, and since June 2021 he leads the analysis and modeling activities of the team. Gabriele focuses on mid and long term price forecasting for Continental Europe, in addition to fundamental modeling of wind, power demand and solar power output. He has a PhD in statistics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and a Master of Science degree in mathematical engineering from Politecnico di Milano. Gabriele has previously worked as Research scientist in the oil service company Schlumberger.Presentations
