Biography

Tim Wilms has been working in the wind industry for almost 2 years. He currently works as a Bioscience Expert at the energy company Vattenfall. Tim is a marine ecologist by education and holds a PhD degree from the Danish Technical University (DTU) in marine habitat restoration. After his PhD studies, Tim worked for 1.5 years as a Postdoc at DTU where his work focused on 1) the ecological enhancement of port infrastructure; 2) the dual use of coastal reefs for shoreline protection and biodiversity enhancement; and 3) the effects of operational offshore wind farms on fish and fisheries.
