Biography

Jochem started his career in 2009 in research, analyzing the economical and technical feasibility of small and medium-scale wind turbines. After he successfully defended his doctoral research, he started working at Tractebel Engie where he worked on several complex on- and offshore projects. Jochem afterwards took the role of Product manager to manage a team of Project Engineers, Wind Experts and Project managers with a main focus on wind projects in Africa and Europe. Besides his role as team leader, Jochem was as well the Lead Technology Officer responsible for the development of methodologies related to wind resource and energy yield assessment for on- and offshore wind farms and Owner Engineering Activities. In 2023, Jochem started working at Parkwind where he took the role of R&D manager. At Parkwind, he develops and coordinates the complete R&D portfolio that supports current and future business.
