Biography
Mrs. Taelman is a bio-science engineer and has been working as PhD and later postdoctoral researcher in the field of (environmental) sustainability of several industrial products and services, amongst wind energy production, for more than ten years at Ghent University. Recently, she moved to the business development centers of EnerGhentIC and Metals at Ghent University, and became the innovation officer for offshore energy. Her main focus today is to play a critical role in driving technological, strategic, and sustainable advancements in the offshore energy sector. This role is central to fostering innovation, ensuring that an organization remains competitive, and adapting to changing market, regulatory, and environmental conditions.Posters
