Biography

Ozlem is a senior researcher in Sirris/Owi-lab. She has almost 15 years experience in wind energy especially in aerodynamics, design optimisation and validation. After graduating from Aerospace Engineering masters in Middle East Technical University in Turkey, she spent 4 years as a design engineer in TAI (Turkish Aircraft Industries) where she was involved in the design of Hurkus aircraft. She joined TNO (ECN) in the Netherlands for 10 years as a researcher to pursue her career in developing wind energy technology further. She is currently working closely with the wind energy industry to tackle the most relevant and urgent problems with her expertise.
