Biography

Ozlem is a Wind Expert at International Marine and Dredging Consultants (IMDC) in Belgium. She holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Middle East Technical University (Turkey) and began her career as a design engineer at Turkish Aircraft Industries (TAI). She then worked as a researcher at TNO (Netherlands) and Sirris/Owi-Lab (Belgium), contributing to innovations that enable the development of large offshore wind turbines, their integration into offshore wind farms and their optimum operations. With over 15 years of experience in wind energy—particularly in aerodynamics, design optimization, and validation—Ozlem now collaborates closely with the offshore wind industry, applying her expertise to address its most pressing challenges.
