Biography

Jamie is a Lead Engineer at Wood with ten years' experience in delivering subsea engineering projects specialising in the design and analysis of dynamic systems for oil and gas and floating offshore wind projects. Jamie has a wide range of experience on offshore wind projects, working on floating substructure concepts, dynamic cable analysis, and route to market strategies. Jamie is a part time secondee to the Net Zero Technology Centre supporting their Floating Offshore Wind technology roadmap and WINTOG network of developers. In 2023 Jamie was nominated as a finalist in the Northern Star Business Awards - Rising Star category for his contributions to North East's energy transition, supporting technology development and Wood's developments in floating offshore wind.
